Tkachuk and Carey is similar idea Tkachuk also put pts on the board). You can argue that Harpur played sheltered minutes, but I know that's not the case because of his average being 6. The way my formula works, if a player plays a full 60 minute game, the rating could sway as much as 15 so 6, is about 1/3 of that, meaning he plays about 20 minutes) and that happens to be true Harpur's avg. is 19:33). Hard to play sheltered minutes when you play that much. 2) Basically. . . the more your team wins when you're playing, the more pts you get in a game, the better your +/-, the better your 5on5 corsi, the more minutes you play, AND the better your opposition is. . . the better your rating. I have made it where if you let a team's first line score against you it hurts less than if the team's 4th line scores against you. . . oddly that's not actually been a huge concern this year. We're having trouble shutting down the top lines. 3) The Averages that are between 0 and -1 are actually not bad. . . it's more or less because the team has a losing players of concern are Wideman borderline), Formenton, Dzingel and Ceci. These players are on the ice for a lot of shots and goals against and are not putting up pts going the other way
